G-RES ChatGPT plugin privacy notice

TerraCode Analytics operates the G-RES plugin. This notice explains the plugin's data handling alongside the general G-RES Privacy Policy.

Data the plugin receives

After you connect your G-RES account, the plugin receives an account identifier and the survey files, field settings, positions, review choices, report context, and instructions you choose to send through ChatGPT. Files can contain survey coordinates and other location information. The plugin returns previews, job progress, inversion results, visualisations, reports, exports, and account-owned record identifiers needed to complete your request.

Processing and storage

The ChatGPT plugin stores uploaded source files, parsed readings, processing requests, results, reports, and named VES profiles in TerraCode Analytics' Google Cloud project. Unlike optional backup in the browser application, cloud storage is required for plugin processing. Records are scoped to your authenticated G-RES account. The plugin uses Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, storage, authentication, and processing. When you request AI-written report text, relevant project evidence is sent to the configured Gemini service.

Retention and requests

We retain plugin records as reasonably needed to provide the service and meet security or legal obligations. To request access to or deletion of your plugin data, email contact@terracodeanalytics.com. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request. ChatGPT's handling of conversations and attachments is governed by its own policies.
